The Power of Data (POD) Project, developed by the NAU Center for Science Teaching and Learning and funded by the National Science Foundation, has been recognized by Change the Equation as an Accomplished STEMworks Program that makes a real impact on students. These professional learning programs enable secondary teachers to enhance their existing lessons with Geospatial Inquiry in order to increase students' 21st century skills and STEM career awareness.
The workshop will take place in Phoenix from June 18-22. Workshop is free and participants can earn a $500 stipend. Space is limited and a competitive application process will be used to select participants.
